Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone “RAKEZ” reaffirmed its leading role in enhancing economic relations between the UAE and the United Kingdom by serving as the main sponsor of a reception hosted by the British Chamber of Commerce Dubai in London. The event was part of RAKEZ’s ongoing efforts to promote trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
The reception attracted prominent executives and business leaders from various sectors in the UK and was part of a series of initiatives aimed at supporting the presence of British companies in the UAE and the wider Middle East region. This comes amid growing interest from the UK business community, with British nationals accounting for over 30% of the Chamber’s new members last year, many of whom relocated to the UAE to expand their businesses.
RAKEZ’s sponsorship of the event reflects its commitment to international expansion and to showcasing the promising opportunities Ras Al Khaimah offers to British enterprises. It also reinforces the strategic partnership established last year between RAKEZ and the British Chamber of Commerce in Dubai.
Katie Holmes, CEO of the British Chamber of Commerce Dubai, emphasized that RAKEZ has been a valuable partner of the Chamber since 2016.
