AD Ports Group Opens First International Office in China

    July 25, 20252 Mins Read

AD Ports Group has officially opened its first international office in Beijing, China, marking a strategic milestone in its global expansion efforts.

Located in the heart of the Chinese capital—China’s policy and planning hub—the new office will oversee the group’s commercial and investment activities across China and the wider Asia region.

The launch expands the group’s global footprint to over 140 offices. It was inaugurated by Sameer Chaturvedi, CEO of Noatum Logistics and Chief International Officer of AD Ports Group; Abdulaziz Zayed Al Shamsi, Regional CEO; and Elly Hui, General Manager of Noatum Logistics in Greater China.

The office will strengthen direct engagement with government entities, strategic partners, major clients, and investors. It also aims to align the group’s operations with China’s development priorities and rapidly capture emerging trade and logistics opportunities.

It will serve as the base for Noatum Logistics’ new commercial branch in the Beijing-Tianjin region—a key market home to over 110 million people.

Moreover, the office will support AD Ports Group’s growing role in the Belt and Road Initiative, which spans maritime routes linking Asia, Africa, and Europe, as well as land corridors connecting China to Central Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

The office will also act as a launchpad to connect potential investors and clients with AD Ports Group’s integrated logistics network, while facilitating capital flows and new ventures between China and the UAE.

Group CEO Capt. Mohamed Juma Al Shamsi emphasized China’s central role in global supply chains, highlighting the group’s commitment to supporting China’s vision for greater cross-border trade integration.

With China’s logistics market expected to grow at a 4.6% CAGR through 2030, AD Ports Group aims to lead in delivering end-to-end logistics solutions tailored to the fast-growing Chinese market.
