The “Dubai AI Week,” held from April 21 to April 25, 2025, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation, welcomed over 10,000 experts and specialists from 100 countries, reflecting Dubai’s ambition to lead the future of artificial intelligence globally.
Organized by the Dubai Center for AI Applications under the Dubai Future Foundation, the event featured more than 150 sessions and workshops with 180 speakers, covering vital sectors including government, education, healthcare, legislation, arts, and the economy.
The week included nine major events, notably the AI Retreat, Dubai AI Forum, International AI Challenge, Dubai AI Festival, and the “Machines Can See” Summit, in addition to the AI Agents Hackathon and an educational program across Dubai schools aimed at raising AI awareness among students.
Global tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Meta, and IBM participated, alongside official delegations from over 15 countries, creating a global platform for knowledge exchange and strategic partnerships.
Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Managing Director of the Dubai Future Foundation, emphasized that the event marks a key milestone in the UAE’s journey toward achieving its national goals and accelerating AI adoption across both public and private sectors.
