ADNOC has launched the “Make it in the UAE with ADNOC” mobile application, the first of its kind, aimed at supporting local manufacturing and accelerating industrial growth across the UAE. The app aligns with the national “Make it in the UAE” initiative and provides real-time access to the list of products ADNOC plans to procure, offering manufacturers, SMEs, and entrepreneurs a clear view of long-term local manufacturing opportunities.
The app enhances transparency in procurement processes, facilitates supplier registration, and provides an intelligent platform for engaging with ADNOC, thereby reducing investment risks and strengthening local supply chains. It acts as an enabling tool to support the UAE’s industrial development objectives.
Yaser Saeed Al Mazrouei, ADNOC’s Executive Director of People, Commercial, and Corporate Support, stated that the app reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to developing innovative tools to empower local businesses and boost their contribution to the national economy. He noted that the app simplifies processes for SMEs and new manufacturers, enabling them to participate directly in ADNOC’s industrial ecosystem.
Omar Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, praised the app’s role in supporting the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology, describing it as a strategic enabler that strengthens the partnership between the ministry and ADNOC. He added that the app provides real-time, reliable data on local manufacturing opportunities based on ADNOC’s procurement needs, which helps investors and manufacturers make informed decisions. It also enhances supply chain resilience, supports self-sufficiency, and contributes to the National In-Country Value (ICV) program.
Rashed Abdulkarim Al Blooshi, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, described the app as a key step aligned with Abu Dhabi’s Industrial Strategy and the “Falcon Economy” vision, which prioritizes flexibility, innovation, and global competitiveness. He emphasized that the app facilitates alignment between private sector capabilities and national priorities through enhanced transparency and access to procurement plans.
Badr Salim Sultan Al Olama, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, welcomed the initiative, highlighting its contribution to strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a global investment and advanced manufacturing hub. He affirmed that the app complements the emirate’s efforts to empower industrial investors and entrepreneurs to access strategic opportunities in priority sectors.
Shams Ali Al Dhaheri, Second Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, described the launch as a strategic milestone in strengthening the UAE’s industrial capabilities. He emphasized that the app promotes a transparent and forward-looking ecosystem that enables local manufacturers and SMEs to grow and innovate, reaffirming the Chamber’s full support for the initiative as part of its role in empowering the private sector and advancing sustainable economic development.
The launch of the app comes ahead of the fourth edition of the “Make it in the UAE” Forum, which will be held from May 19 to 22 in Abu Dhabi. The app builds on the success of ADNOC’s In-Country Value (ICV) Program, which has redirected over AED 242 billion ($65.9 billion) into the local economy and created more than 17,000 jobs for Emiratis in the private sector since 2008.
