Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has unveiled the agenda and speaker lineup for the third edition of the MENA Capital Markets Summit, showcasing the emirate’s growing role as a leading global destination for capital flows and investment opportunities.
The summit serves as a key platform highlighting major trends shaping regional and global capital markets. It will address the transformative impact of technology on market infrastructure, evolving IPO landscapes, high-growth companies, cross-border capital flows, the rise of retail investor participation, and developments in private markets. The event will host over 100 senior leaders from global financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and government entities, reflecting the depth of expertise and the strategic importance of the discussions.
A key feature of this year’s edition is the introduction of “The Hub”—a dynamic interactive space designed to facilitate direct engagement and in-depth dialogue. It will showcase key digital investment tools launched by DFM, including the iVestor app and the ARENA platform, aimed at empowering investors and expanding access to capital market opportunities.
Hamed Ali, CEO of DFM and Nasdaq Dubai, emphasized that the summit highlights Dubai’s increasing prominence as a global financial gateway, where international capital meets regional potential. He noted that DFM attracted AED 10.48 billion in IPO proceeds in 2024 and expanded its investor base to 1.2 million individuals from over 200 nationalities, reflecting growing global confidence in Dubai’s markets.
Executives from leading financial institutions, including Bank of America, Citi, Emirates NBD, and HSBC, praised the summit as a vital forum to exchange insights on capital formation, IPO dynamics, and evolving investment ecosystems. They highlighted Dubai’s unique position as one of the world’s most vibrant markets, underpinned by a progressive regulatory environment and rapid adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
The summit underscores Dubai’s strategic vision to lead in financial innovation and international capital connectivity, reinforcing its role as a hub for diversified banking, investment services, and sustainable growth.
