His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of the Dubai Airshow, presided over the first meeting of the Higher Committee for the 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow, scheduled to take place from 17 to 21 November 2025, to review ongoing preparations and organizational readiness.
During the meeting, His Highness emphasized that the Dubai Airshow serves as a strategic platform that highlights the UAE’s leadership in the aviation and aerospace sectors and reflects the country’s remarkable progress in critical industries. He stated: “Hosting this global event, with the support of our wise leadership and the participation of strategic partners, reinforces Dubai’s position as a global hub for innovation and advanced technologies.”
He added: “We take pride in the successes of previous editions and look forward to this year’s edition being a new milestone that reflects our future ambitions.”
The meeting reviewed the latest developments related to the organizational arrangements for the event. His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed praised the level of preparedness and extended his appreciation to all relevant entities for their continuous efforts in reinforcing the show’s status as one of the world’s leading aviation events.
The 2023 edition of the Airshow witnessed the announcement of deals exceeding USD 101 billion, with participation from over 1,400 exhibitors representing 148 countries and attracting more than 135,000 visitors; further underscoring the event’s role as a global focal point for the aviation industry.
