Abu Dhabi Global Market’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority (ADGM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Central Bank of Azerbaijan to enhance collaboration in financial technologies, capital markets, and regulatory best practices.
The agreement enables both parties to exchange knowledge, host joint training workshops, conduct field visits, and collaborate on research. It aims to foster innovation and strengthen the financial sectors in both jurisdictions.
Emmanuel Givanakis, CEO of ADGM’s FSRA, emphasized the strategic value of the partnership, stating, “This MoU lays a solid foundation for knowledge exchange and joint innovation that supports capital market growth and regulatory advancement.”
International partnerships remain central to ADGM’s mission of building a transparent, globally aligned financial ecosystem. The authority continues to deepen ties with regional and global regulators to enhance cooperation, regulatory integration, and the exchange of expertise.
These efforts also facilitate joint supervisory actions and help align regulatory frameworks with international standards, allowing ADGM to remain agile amid emerging risks and rapid market developments.
Taleh Kazimov, Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, highlighted the MoU’s importance: “In an increasingly interconnected financial world, collaboration is key to fostering innovation, improving regulatory practices, and enhancing the resilience of our financial systems.”
