    ADNOC-Listed Companies Distribute Over $6.7 Billion in Annual Dividends for 2024

    The publicly listed companies under the ADNOC Group on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange announced total cash dividend distributions exceeding AED 24.6 billion (approximately $6.7 billion) for the year 2024. This reflects the group’s strong financial performance and its continued commitment to delivering attractive returns to shareholders.

    ‏These distributions followed the approval of final dividend proposals by shareholders during the annual general assemblies of the six listed entities.

    ‏ADNOC Distribution
    Shareholders approved a final dividend of AED 1.3 billion ($350 million) for the second half of 2024, bringing total annual distributions to AED 2.6 billion ($700 million), equivalent to 20.57 fils per share. Since its listing in 2017, the company has distributed AED 17.6 billion ($4.8 billion) in total dividends, with a cumulative shareholder return of 92% as of the end of 2024.

    ‏ADNOC Gas
    ‏The general assembly approved a final dividend of AED 6.2 billion ($1.7 billion), bringing total 2024 dividends to AED 12.5 billion ($3.41 billion)—the highest on the Abu Dhabi market. The company also expects to be listed on the MSCI Emerging Markets Index and FTSE following the largest secondary offering in UAE market history.

    ‏ADNOC Drilling
    ‏Shareholders approved total annual dividends of AED 2.9 billion ($788 million), including AED 1.4 billion ($394 million) for the second half of the year—marking a 10% year-on-year increase, driven by solid financial performance.

    ‏ADNOC Logistics & Services
    ‏Shareholders approved a final dividend of AED 501 million ($136.5 million), bringing total distributions for 2024 to over AED 1 billion ($273 million), up 5% year-over-year. Since its 2023 listing, the company has delivered a total shareholder return of more than 178%.

    ‏Borouge
    ‏In its annual general meeting held on April 7, shareholders approved a final dividend of $650 million (AED 2.4 billion), bringing the total cash dividends for 2024 to $1.3 billion (AED 4.77 billion), equivalent to 15.88 fils per share. The company also approved a 2.5% share buyback, reflecting confidence in its future growth, particularly as production capacity is expected to reach 13.6 million tons following upcoming mergers and acquisitions.

    ‏Fertiglobe
    ‏Shareholders approved a final dividend of AED 459 million ($125 million) for the second half of 2024, bringing total annual distributions to over AED 1 billion ($275 million), equivalent to 12.2 fils per share. Since its listing in 2021, the company has returned AED 9.2 billion ($2.5 billion) to shareholders—among the highest return rates in the sector and the Abu Dhabi market.
