UAE Emerges as World’s Fastest-Growing Wealth Market with 9,800 Millionaires Expected in 2025

    July 14, 20252 Mins Read

The United Arab Emirates continues to solidify its position as a global hub for wealth management. The UAE surpasses its regional role to become the top destination for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and global financial institutions. This is driven by a unique model that combines economic openness, financial stability, and forward-looking government policies.

According to a recent report by Henley & Partners, expectations indicate that the UAE will attract a net inflow of 9,800 millionaires in 2025, bringing with them investable wealth totaling around USD 63 billion.

Global Confidence in the UAE’s Financial Environment

Suvo Sarkar, Vice Chair of the Advisory Board at Wealthbrix, said that the UAE has become one of the world’s fastest-growing wealth management markets. He attributed this to the country’s strategic policies, advanced financial infrastructure, and strong reputation as a safe investment haven.

Sarkar highlighted that investors from Europe, Asia, and the MENA region view the UAE as a stable, low-tax jurisdiction offering a high quality of life and ideal conditions for wealth protection and growth.

    Rising Demand for Wealth Services

He noted that the UAE’s rapid increase in wealthy individuals now surpasses countries like Australia and the U.S., fueling demand for wealth management firms. Leading financial hubs like Abu Dhabi Global Market and DIFC are helping reinforce global trust.

Hind Akel, Co-Founder of Dovehouse Capital, emphasized the strength of the UAE’s financial sector, backed by sovereign funds and institutional investors. She also cited top-tier education, healthcare, and safety as key reasons families choose the UAE as their home.

A DIFC-backed report estimates $1 trillion in regional wealth will transition by 2030, with UAE assets alone growing 20% since 2022—proof of its exceptional wealth strategy.
