The young Emirati ambassadors participating in the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka–Kansai are a reflection of the nation’s vision to empower young national talent and strengthen their global presence. Through their impactful roles, they embody Emirati values and highlight the UAE as a model of tolerance, progress, and innovation.
Several youth ambassadors emphasized that their participation is a unique opportunity to share a realistic image of the aspirations and achievements of Emirati youth, while also contributing to cultural dialogue with people from around the world. Ambassador Ahmed Al-Darei noted that his involvement is an extension of his academic and professional journey, which began in Japan and continued at the UAE Space Agency. He pointed out that the “Space Exploration” section of the pavilion showcases the country’s scientific achievements and its deep connection to the UAE’s cultural identity.
The pavilion also hosted specialized dialogue sessions in the space sector, bringing together international experts to explore cooperation opportunities and knowledge exchange. Meanwhile, youth ambassador Sara Al-Saiari highlighted the intensive training the 46-member team underwent before the expo, focusing on protocol, visitor engagement, and safety procedures.
Al-Saiari added that the ambassadors rotate across six main stations in the pavilion, delivering interactive content in multiple global languages, reflecting the UAE’s openness and cultural diversity. Fellow ambassador Saif Tahnoun stated that the training boosted the team’s confidence and professionalism, and that their direct engagement with visitors plays a key role in presenting a positive and inclusive image of the UAE on the international stage.
