Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will organize the 27th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) from September 30 to October 2 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
WETEX is the largest exhibition in the region dedicated to energy, water, green development, and sustainability, and is considered one of the leading global events in these fields. The exhibition reflects the UAE’s continued commitment to clean energy transition and carbon neutrality.
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA and Founder and Chairman of WETEX, stated that with the support of the wise leadership, the exhibition has evolved over more than 25 years into a global platform that promotes sustainable development and clean energy solutions. WETEX supports the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategic Initiative and the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for green economy and sustainable growth.
The exhibition serves as a vital annual platform bringing together thousands of local and international companies, along with government entities, decision-makers, experts, and researchers to exchange knowledge and showcase the latest technological innovations in critical sectors shaping a sustainable and prosperous future.
Last year’s edition attracted over 50,598 visitors and featured the participation of more than 2,800 companies from 65 countries, with 21 international pavilions.
