Abu Dhabi-based entities ADQ, International Holding Company (IHC), and Modon Properties have announced the launch of a new joint venture named Gridora, aimed at developing major infrastructure projects and strengthening public-private sector collaboration.
Operating under the umbrella of Modon Properties, Gridora is a strategic initiative designed to accelerate the execution of vital infrastructure projects with transformative economic impact, while fostering a sustainable and attractive investment environment in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The new company will leverage Modon’s expertise in real estate and infrastructure development across local and international markets, focusing on two main pillars: project execution and infrastructure investments. This approach seeks to generate long-term returns and promote institutional collaboration.
Gridora will streamline contracting and implementation processes for large-scale projects and oversee the full development cycle, from planning to launch and operation—creating new opportunities for revenue and investment.
H.E. Jassem Mohamed Buatabah Al Zaabi, Chairman of Modon Properties, stated that Gridora is a strategic response to Abu Dhabi’s rapid economic and population growth, positioning it as a key player in advancing critical infrastructure projects both locally and regionally.
H.E. Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Managing Director and CEO of ADQ, emphasized that the establishment of Gridora reflects ADQ’s commitment to supporting transformative strategic developments and strengthening partnerships with major entities such as Modon and IHC.
Syed Basar Shueb, CEO of IHC, noted that Gridora aligns with the company’s strategy to build future-focused platforms that empower the private sector and drive infrastructure-led growth across priority markets.
Bill O’Regan, CEO of Modon Properties, added that Gridora extends Modon’s vision to develop smart and modern communities, utilizing financial and technical capabilities to fast-track the delivery of strategic infrastructure projects in partnership with the private sector.
